QUICK LINKS

Welcome to the OC Recycle Guide. Need to get rid of it but not sure where it goes? Search an A-Z list of recycling options for Orange County residents.

Insecticides

OPTIONS:

Insecticides contain chemicals that are harmful and should be disposed of appropriately to prevent any injury. OC Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers take insecticides for disposal or recycling of Household Hazardous Waste items (HHW) for FREE. Please note, the centers are not permitted to accept waste from businesses, churches, schools, non-profit organizations or government agencies, or from residents outside of Orange County. Additional HHW services may be available through your city.  Contact your city's recycling coordinator to find out other ways to dispose of your HHW items in your community. Your local trash hauler may also have addition HHW services available.

Click here for detailed information regarding HHW, including a list of common items you can take to your local collection center.
