Soil amounts less than 5 cubic yards can go to a landfill. Larger amounts must be tested and may qualify for fee exemptions.

Treated Wood Waste or TWW, is no longer accepted at OC Landfills. TWW is classified as painted or chemically treated wood like fence posts and railroad ties require special handling.
Empty cartridges not attached to a battery are considered landfill waste. If there is liquid or if it's attached to a battery, dispose at a HHWCC.
Carpet recycling is available at select locations in Orange County.
